Meet The Doctor
Dr. Chow is an Orofacial Pain Specialist that limits his practice to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular disorders and orofacial pain. His practice has always emphasized providing a patient-centered approach utilizing primarily conservative therapies and scientific evidence-based treatment.
Dr. Chow graduated with a D.D.S. degree from the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry in 1981. He also graduated from University of California Berkeley in 1977 with a B.A. in Biochemistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain and also is Board Certified in Orofacial Pain with the American Board of Orofacial Pain. He is a Fellow with the American Academy of Orofacial Pain. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of General Dentistry. He also serves as an adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry.
He has given presentations on the subject of Temporomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain at the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry, the Sacramento District Dental Society, the Sacramento Valley Dental Hygienists Association and Delta Dental of California.
